A plate-type holding furnace is used for holding the temperature of molten aluminum during metal die casting. Made of high-strength and aluminum in adhesive calcium silicate insulation boards, the furnace has unique advantages comparing common ones.
• The furnace shell surface temperature rise is less than 10°C, improving the “hot” casting environment!
• After 8 hours of power cut, the temperature of molten aluminum will be dropped less than 60°C! The thermal conductivity of calcium silicate boards at 600°C is less than 1/5 of that of heavy casting materials, suggesting that calcium silicate boards have good thermal insulation performance
• No sticking to the molten pool or deposit on its surface, reducing furnace cleaning time!
• Can save over 30% energy compared with normal die casting holding furnaces. Owing to the low temperature rise of the furnace shell surface, very little heat is dissipated from the furnace body
• Easy to maintain. When the plate-type molten pool (usually has a service life of over 4 years) breaks down and has to be replaced, it takes only 3 working days to replace it with a new one
• Present an excellent casting environment ,which can enhance the corporate image
